Dream

I lie awake at night wishing that the darkness that has taken over the world would come and take me away. Wishing that it would wrap me so tightly in its grasp I would be forced to succumb to its pressure and just give up. Wishing that for one second I could stop fighting and let it consume every last bit of me. Wishing that no matter how hard I tried it would overpower me and make me see it for what it really is. Wishing that I could be whisked away into this world of darkness and somehow manage to see the light.
